Recently I run in to this issue App-v apps with the wrong OS tag value how to change this is easy edit the OSD file and your done. but what if you have multiple apps ? or you don’t know what value you need.
Below is a List of supported OSD Tags. as in app-v 4.6 sp1 the second part is for SP2 currently a beta.

As you can see windows 2012 is currently not in the list. Therefor you need to use the SP2 version.
App-V 4.6 SP2 Beta RDS Client Supported OS:
- Windows Server 8 Beta
- Windows Server 2008 R2 (RTM or SP1)
- Windows Server 2008 SP2
- Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2
Server needs App-V 4.5 SP2.
New OSD tag values in the Sequencer are for Windows 8 / Windows 2012:
- Windows 8 32-bit [OS VALUE = "Win8"]
- Windows 8 64-bit [OS VALUE = "Win864"]
- Windows 8 Terminal Server 64-bit [OS VALUE = "Win8TS64"]
